Bogner Amplification
Bogner Amplification's Custom Shop™
Bogner's Custom Shop line of guitar amplifiers designed to deliver the signature flexibility, pure valve signal path and rich tonal characteristics indicative of historic Bogner amplifiers.
Reinhold Bogner had been designing and building amplifiers long before leaving Germany in 1989. Moving to Los Angeles he quickly gained the trust of many influential players including: Steve Stevens, Dan Huff, Allan Holdsworth, Mike Landau and Steve Vai who sought out his skill at modifing and custom building their amps. Eddie Van Halen entrusted Reinhold to overhaul and revitalize Eddies #1 Marshall Plexi, Eddie was pleased. BOGNER AMPLIFICATION was born.
Reinhold would be pretty bored to copy the old amplifiers from the 60's and make them more reliable. Instead he comes up with his own designs which incorporate the feel and tone of the old designs but with flexibility unheard of. In 1992 Reinhold released the Ecstasy which was the beginning of a new class of boutique amplifiers.
Over time the company as well as the product line has grown but never has quality or customer service been sacrificed. We look forward to developing products that will continue to inspire. The Final Word From the GuitarFixation review
There are endless amounts of Tele style guitars out there these days offered not only by Fender. What Leo created is both classic and timeless in its design and most importantly in its sound. Most guitar nuts agree that a vintage, pre CBS Fender is the Holy Grail by which all others are compared. But the LSL is all-together in a league of its own and I believe it can stand beside a vintage Telecaster in quality, solid construction, and tone.
G Sharp Instruments
In an orchestra the conductor will in most cases take it for granted that a flute player doubles on piccolo, that a trumpet player also brought along the flugelhorn and there is never a question whether a clarinet player brings along a Bb as well as an A clarinet, maybe even an alto or a bass clarinet for that matter.
And that is were we come in with our offering – the G sharp guitar – an instrument meant to take its place in any setting with a voice totally its own.
So what exactly is a G# guitar? Simply stated it is a short scale guitar that takes into consideration some important factors that guitarist themselves always are looking for in an instrument, and especially so when one switches between instruments. In such a context it does indeed help that, Øivin Fjeld, the designer of the G# guitar not only have been one of Norway's premiere repairmen and trouble shooters for more than twenty years, he is also a very qualified guitarist.
What really benefits the G# guitar is the fact that its construction is such a simple one. There is nothing on that guitar that stands in the way of great tone. The name G# comes from the fact that when Øivin was designing the guitar he landed on the G# as the preferred timbre of the instrument. The timbre was something that he had carried with him for a long time, and even if he was paced by many guitarists to design his own guitar he could not say that he had done that before the sound of the instrument matched the one that he had in his mind. And one thing he definitely didn't want to do was to make yet another "copy" for the market.

James Trussart
James Trussart began crafting metal violins, dulcimers and hurdy gurdies in France in the late 1970's before switching his focus to guitars. He is one of the few builders who has broken the mold of traditional guitar making. Settled in Los Angeles since 2000, he provides rare and collectible handcrafted instruments. Working with steel as his primary material, he produces instruments that are as unique in appearance as they are in tone

Having built guitars since the 1970's he now honed his unique guitar making skills to such an extent that he has managed to capture the imagination of some seriously respected guitarists including Paul Simon, Eric Clapton, Billy Gibbons, Joe Walsh, Jack White, Joe Perry, Tom Morello, Billy Corgan and James Hetfield. The tone produced by these guitars is so distinctive that Trussart guitars have now become 'must-have' instruments for many influential artists. The SteelDeville is a classic single cutaway design with a Hollow steel body and a wood neck. The 24.5" scale length and vintage components make this instrument feel like home the minute you lay your hands on it.
